If you have completed eLearning, the course is showing 100% but isnt updating in your Training Plan or Training Transcript this is most likely due to you not achieving the minimum pass mark in the course

Navigate to: Self> Learner Dashboard> CLick 'Training Schedule' on the left under 'Quick Links'> Select the 'Completed' tab> Search for the course. From here you can see your score. Most of our courses are 80% pass mark

  • Commercial Training - All commercial training (apart from Warranty courses) can be registered onto by your delegates directly on LEAP. Please view THIS guide if needed
  • Technical Training - Courses for Technical roles are booked/managed by the Training Development Specialist team, bookings will be automatically booked/spaces offered when avaliable however if you would like to request a booking your can do so HERE

New Assessment for Sales Executives & Service Advisors

From January 2024 the assessment process and tasks will be changing for Sales Executives & Service Advisors.
The OCL (Observation Checklist) functionality on LEAP will be turned off on Friday, 8th December for these roles. Any delegates who have submitted before this date will be marked as normal. Should they fail their assessment they will have until the 15th January to resubmit under the OCL process, after this date their assessment will be transferred to the new process.

The new assessment process will be a 1.5hr virtual classroom in which they will complete their assessment. Assessment events will be bookable on LEAP from 11th December for dates starting 8th January 2024.

How to Book:


Booking assessment will be the same as booking any other VC in the delegates pathway.
My Training Plans > Sales exec/service advisor pathway > Assessment > Click register for Group Sales Executive/Service Advisor Assessment > Select date & time > Click Register
Joining instructions will be sent to confirm booking.
Cancellation charges will be applicable to assessments.

Sales Executive Tasks


Task 1 – Meet & Greet Role Play
Delegate will be expected to role play a meet & greet scenario. They will need to introduce themselves and dealership, qualify the customer and progress to the next step in the sales process.
Task 2 – Product Presentation Role Play
Delegate will be expected to present a suitable vehicle to the customer based on the qualification from task 1. Clearly display feature, function, benefit, good product knowledge and a tailored presentation to the customer.
Task 3 – Making an Offer Role Play
Delegate will be provided with an offer sheet and will then be expected to present this to the customer. Clearly apply objection handling and closing techniques

Service Advisor Tasks:


Task 1 – KPI Presentation
Delegate will be expected to present and discuss their KPI results and discuss how these can be improved/impact the wider business.
Delegates KPI data must be prepared in advance and to hand for the assessment, failure to do so will result in the assessment being cancelled.
Task 2 – Check in & check out Role Play
Delegate will be provided with a customer profile and expected to role play the check in & check out process. Clearly display customer care, personalised service plan, upsell products/services and explain work and invoice.
Task 3 – Professional Discussion
Delegate will be asked a selection of questions and expected to answer and provide examples. Questions such as how to handle customer complaints, how to provide a service for an EV customer, relationships and communication with other departments.

Additional Information


• Delegates do not need a colleague or customer available, we will be providing an actor to act the part of customer on the call
• Sales executives should join the assessment on a portable device such as iPad on mobile phone to allow them to present the vehicle
• Sales executives should have a vehicle prepared in advance so as not to delay the assessment – they have a limited time slot and should they not complete assessment in this time they will need to re-book
• Service advisors must prepare in advance their KPI data to present during the assessment – failure to do so will result in the assessment being cancelled and re-booked.
• Assessments will be hosted on adobe and the link to join will be sent to delegates via their joining instructions
• Results will be provided to the delegates within 24 hours of their assessment
